Who we are

At Solara Mental Wellness, we believe healing happens when we challenge ourselves to grow—not just to feel better, but to live better. We see mental health as a journey of self-discovery, resilience, and balance. Our goal is to walk alongside you through that process, helping you reconnect with who you are and what truly supports your well-being.

We blend traditional psychiatry with integrative and lifestyle medicine, using both medication and natural supports such as nutrition, supplements, mindfulness, and behavioral change. Every visit is collaborative and intentional—whether we’re fine-tuning medication, exploring thought patterns, or finding small, sustainable ways to support your emotional and physical health.

Medication Management

Our approach to medication management focuses on finding the right balance for your mind and body. We use evidence-based psychiatric medications when appropriate and also integrate nutraceuticals and supplements to support mood, energy, and overall wellness.

Our goal is to optimize mental health with the least medication necessary—always considering the whole person, not just the symptoms.

Please note: At this time, we do not prescribe controlled substances, including benzodiazepines, “Z” sleep medications, or stimulant medications.

Integrative & Holistic Approach

Mental health doesn’t exist in isolation—it’s connected to how you sleep, eat, move, and live. Our integrative approach combines traditional psychiatry with lifestyle medicine and holistic strategies to support your mind and body.

This may include mindfulness, nutrition, movement, supplements, and other evidence-based tools that strengthen emotional resilience and overall wellness. The goal is lasting change—not just symptom control.

Psychotherapy

Each medication management visit blends therapeutic work with treatment planning for a more holistic experience. Sessions often incorporate strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to address thought patterns, emotional regulation, and behavioral change.

This integrative approach allows for both medication and psychotherapy support within the same visit—helping you gain insight, build coping tools, and create meaningful, lasting improvement in your mental health.
